RELEASE POLICY

 following release policy is established only for the protection of your child(en) under our care.

1. A child can be release only to a parent, guardian or person(s) indicated on the Child Information Card. *NOTE We require a picture identification of all authorized individuals in order for us to release your child. Copies of a California Drivers License or Identification card should be attached to the emergency information form.

2. In the case of divorced or legal separation, a child is relesed only to the custodial parent, unless the custodial parent indicates others in writing. A copy of the legal custody documents indicating custody should be submitted to us.

3. The name and relationship of any person authorized to pick-up your child, must be included in the identification and emergency information form. You may add, delete, or change authorized people at anytime but it must be on file in my Family Care Facility.

DISCIPLINE POLICY

   We at Fun World FCC will be use only positive methods of discipline which encourage self-control, self-esteem and cooperation among children. Gentle guidance, re-directionand thinking time (if necessary) will be used as our discipline method. No physical force or punishment of any kind will be used.

ILLENESS/MEDICATION

   In order to be in healthy environment, we cannot have children in Childcare with contagious symptoms such.

*Fever (over 101)

*Vomiting and/or diarrhea

*Chicken Pox

*Flue or any other contagious childhood disease

If a child becomes ill in care, the parent(s) or emergency care person will be notified to pick up the child. The parents must also sign a Medication Permission Slip. Only medication that is prescribed by a physician and labeled with your child's name by a license pharmacist will be administrated.

In case of mild symptoms such as stomachache and headaches, you should notify us in writing, which over the counter medicine we are allowed to dispense. To avoid contacting you in these cases.

Also we should be informed of any allergies, asthma or any reactions we should be aware before administrating medicine to a child. Remember to provide current Immunization Cards.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE AND DRILLS

   In case of any emergency, we will do the following:

1. Contact parent(s) immediately

2. Contact emergency care person in case of parents absence

3. Attempt to contact child's physician

4. Only for immediate treatment 911 will be called first

   We have an evacuation plan to use in case of fire or other natural disaster. Also, we have available an emergency kit with all the children's information, canned food, extra blankets, water and other things if needed. Our emergency drill will be practiced two times per month.
